Sys Engineer-The System integration engineer will install
The System integration engineer will install, integrate, test and support SIP application servers, MMSC, IMS, SIP/J2EE/SOA services in a project driven environment.
Required Competencies and Skills: REQUIREMENTS:
- Mobile , fixed, cable or converged telecom experience with knowledge of IMS(IP Multimedia system), Mobile Presence, Address Book, Multimedia Messaging(MMSC), Audio/Video Streaming, Mobile Games, IPTV.
- Knowledge of MMSC standards like MM1, MM4, MM7 etc.
- Familiar with SIP (JSR 116, 289), WAP and messaging protocols.
- At least 2 to 5 years programming experience in J2EE, XML, JSP, xHTML, Web Services, BPM, and Oracle/SQL.
- Java programming experience creating SIP services and applications in a J2EE environment.
- Experience with BEA Weblogic, Oracle SIP Application server, SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), BPEL, JNETX, Websphere and jBOSS.
- LINUX and/or Solaris experience with knowledge of scripting languages like PERL.
- Background in Agile Software development, UML and software testing.
- Good communication skills and ability to create clear and accurate customer documents.
- Experience with SUN, HP or IBM Linux Blade servers
- Knowledge of Load balancing, clustering, Failover and Geo Redundancy
- Experience with EMC storage, Oracle RAC cluster databases, Cisco switches and BIG-IP Load Balancers.
Education & Experience or Other Requirements: - Degree: BSc or MSc in computer science/engineering.
- Willingness to travel for customer demos, onsite projects. 50% travel required
