Health Information Management Coder

This position requires complex coding proficiency in addition to auditing and analysis of coding related activities. Applicant must be knowledgeable regarding the requirements of industry standards, including Medicare and the International Classification of Disease (ICD-9) along with the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) systems of coding. Competence in working with a multi-disciplinary team to review documentation, coding and reimbursement issues, and documentation needs for medical staff and other health care providers is required. Coding experience required.
