Mechanical Engineer - All Position Levels
A leading medical device company has numerous R & D positions open at all product development engineering levels. This company produces small, high volume disposables. These positions will focus exclusively on new product development.

Location of client and positions is confidential until interview is conducted. Full relocation will be provided. (States indicated in settings on job posting are for purpose of posting only and may not be relevant to actual client or position location) There is urgency to fill the positions!
Qualified candidates are mechanical engineers with the following: Deep functional experience Understanding of what will and wont work for high volume manufacturing Strong leadership ability and/or have demonstrated success in a leadership role Strong communication skills Ambition to drive projects from start to finish Action oriented and experienced in end-to-end development (concept-market launch) Strong life sciences product development skills over full product life cycle Mechanical engineering education and hands-on experience is very important to success in this role. Biomedical engineers with the experience above may also be considered. Other engineering disciplines, i.e. chemical, software, electrical, etc., will not be considered. Very deep functional experience required. All work is on new products. Need to understand concepts, what will and wont work for high volume manufacturing. Not looking for candidates with more program or project management skills. Titles should not be Program Manager or Project Manager. They should be more like Principal Engineer, Senior Principal Engineer, Manager of R & D, Core Team Leader, Director of R & D, Director of Engineering, etc. Actual work experience should be product development engineering, not manufacturing engineering, not process engineering, etc. Might consider design engineering as long as you have done the full product life cycle for new product development and not just the front-end design work. Engineering experience in small, high volume, disposables manufacturing environment is a definite advantage. Masters required, Ph.D. preferred. MBA preferred 5+ years Experience
