Responsibilities:
Orchestrate day to day operations at the highest levels of professional accountability, quality of care, and patient safety
Requirements:
Clinical background balanced with business orientation and demonstrated management experience within an advanced acute care setting
Management experience in a full cardiovascular service program with significant volumes
Knowledge of hospital/healthcare vendor environment and ability to work with diversity of vendor relationships needed
Thorough working knowledge of Cath lab and EP lab equipment, processes, procedures, and overall operations
Management level leadership of a cardiology Cath lab and EP lab (preferred)
Working knowledge of JCAHO Standards and other related regulatory/compliance issues
Proficient at hiring, training, retaining, organizing and leading a large productive team
Financial management skills to collect, monitor, and interpret internal and external data to assess and improve operational performance related to the cardiac Cath/EP lab
Technological and Information Systems savvy to advance optimal automation of services
BS Degree required in a health related field, nursing preferred
Advanced degree strongly preferred
